You're talking to someone who ran 4.88s on 33s and drove 80+ miles a day.

Yep and loved every minute of it.

I'd run 5.13s or 5.38s on 35s if I wanted to dump more money into my 44s.

The main reason I don't want to move up in tire size is because it would be a dog.

That and the fact I can't seem to break anything on it right now

Well, 4.88s would be *really* tall for 32s or 33s IMO... and that's what I'm on till I happen upon a set of ATs in whatever size I can get.

4.88s would be really "shallow" is what you meant to say, i think. jeep grammar Anyway, Both myself and Colin have run 33s on 4.88s and it's perfectly fine. Still very much a drivable setup.

Hm. That's weird, it must be your lastara transmission...My Jeep isn't exactly a dog, as you well know from your little ride on 138 when I drove to your house. It still moves just fine

friend of mine ran 5.13's and 31's for a trip to rc 300 miles each way

he got 18 mpg at 65 mph

the 4.0 is most efficient in it's power curve, but makes mo noise.

It's funny you say that because after I saw your jeep lurch over that hill that Rob and Colin's jeep launched up I could only draw that it must be from your transmission. It made me really want to keep my auto if I ever want to see my 2 billion pound monster launch itself off all fours. Unless I find a sweet deal on a 4bt>NV4500...

but my jeep ran at about 3 grand at 75. if i did 65 i could squeeze low 20's mpg
