ya i coulda had one next to nothing from an estate sale, but no garage to put it in.
but ive been looking into it and for 10 grand i could have a flat slab barn/garage 40x50 with double doors and enough room for 4 cars, and a nice upstairs.
hmmmm can u say FUN!!!!

Couldn't work on my Honcho today but no big deal. I got everything ready but had to pack up because someone was at my apartment building was here(inspector,board member, or someone like that) so I had to pack up and couldn't borrow the maintainence guy's power tools. BUT instead I drove down to bridgewater and picked up some 1/4" angled steel to make bumper brackets from. I was eyeing sobe 2x6 but I held off for now until I can measure to see what I want.

I've got some nice d-ring weld on tabs for the bumper when you decide to make it...probably not going to use them.

question-kinda important.
i came across a vendors site that says 84- 91 alts are the same.
ive read elsewher they are not the same.
any one know absolutley that the are the same or different?
i have a dead 91 alt but a good 90 alt.

I've got some nice d-ring weld on tabs for the bumper when you decide to make it...probably not going to use them.

How much would you want for these? I'm making a bumper either this week or next week.

How much would you want for these? I'm making a bumper either this week or next week.

$20 ? I paid $26.xx or something shipped for them and they're still in the packaging.

They are 4.5"x2"x 1" thick with a machined 3/4" hole.

you should of stayed and watched me on the 2nd trail, i was very easy on my jeep

:yelclap: I wasn't sure, but it looked like you were trying to drive over every rock within 20 feet of the trail... A+ would watch again.

I'm off to pick up some ultra cheap road wheels after work... co-worker is throwing her old WJ in for Cash for Clunkers and just got new tires+rims. I'm gonna look like an idiot driving around with em but $250 for a full set, nearly brand new, is too good to pass up!

... if it's got a d44 under the back, I'll see if she's amenable to someone swapping for a d35 before it goes to the dealer :shhh:

EDIT: this in no way implies I approve of cash for clunkers... nothing could be further from the truth. but if she's gonna send it in, I may as well get the rims+tires before the junkyard does.

wjs have a different bolt pattern than xjs and that d44 has an aluminium housing that can crack really easily
