THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I forgot to post this last night but after the demo derby I went to leave and realized after pulling out on the street that I had no headlights. I'm still working on the cab and floors and forgot that I removed the floor switch to the lights. I called my girlfriend and had to walk her thru my workshop and basement as to where and what to get me. My daughter happens to also be sick and I didnt want her out so I macguyver'd a solution so she didnt have to come all the way there. Normally it wouldnt have been to big a problem but because my rear slider was not in the truck I didnt want any tools in to get stolen. I remembered there was a 4" piece of ground wire cut under the dash on the pass. side that I didnt get rid of yet so I broke that off, I took the lighter from the kid who was with me and melted the plastic off the ends and found the right prongs on the connector and fit the wire in jumping the current and getting my headlights back. Hey it at least got me home and my daughter could stay in bed. I'm actually going outside in a minute to reinstall the switch with new screws. It was a good time last night.

I have to wake up tomorrow and start on that dumb body mount. My alarm is going to go off at 6 and i'm just going to shut it off and go back to sleep until I have work and get nothing done. Anyone up early and want to scream at me until I start making a body mount?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You think I'll be safe running 33x10.50 on a RE 4.5" kit? I wanna run 33's but I don't want to kill my COG. Nor do I want to trim that much...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

whatsamatta with trimming???? Personally I've never been known to like adding lift for the sake of clearing tires when you can just trim some more. Like you said CoG is key :)

Take off the dress, put on some pants, and get out the sawzall. :D :D

Yeah, pretty much what he said... :D

You saw the other Rob's rig on Saturday. He's running 33x12.5's and didn't even trim as much as he could have. And he's running way less than an RE 4.5"... Plus when you drive like him you don't need to trim, panels have a way of clearancing themselves.:firedevil

Yeah chicks may dig body damage but I don't. Battle scars are one thing but I couldn't beat my rig like Rob does. Sorry Rob.:o

And I like the dress, better circulation when doorless!

soooo i understand that my 31's are a wee bit on the small side, and i think about ten pages back, i was told i couldnt come on a run because of them, and everyone was running 35's.
so i might just get 33's instead of 35's, lincoln lock it and totally pwn the trails with no fear of body damage, and show you i have the skills not to get pulled off every obstacle.
