Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

travis if you get someone to go to maryland lemme know i want the krawlers

if i do end up going and do end up picking up tires for you guys you two would have to pitch for gas in the truck, since that sucker would probably be about $300+ in gas there and back. my computer is broken lately so i cant stay ontop of lots-o-posts so travis just call me or something regarding it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

and rob i cant make it now either since apparently this is the weekend i'm doing the MA required pistol safety class on saturday, and my water pump is in desperate need to be replaced since my temp creeped to 230 within 5 minutes of running the jeep yesterday.

it's back on insurance though! road tests will commence on Friday when i can get to the RMV!!!!

wooohooooooo

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Question of the day, for a recovery gear set up, would you rather:

Option One: Rockstomper Master recovery kit
One 2x30 tow strap (rated at 20,000lbs)
One premium 3x10 two-ply treesaver (rated at 60,000lbs, no sliding sleeves)
One scissors-style snatch block (breaking strength of over 40,000lbs)
One 3/8x10 chain
Four shackles
One pair of work gloves
One tough nylon gear bag

Or

Option Two:
3"x30' tow strap by Smittybilt (rated at 30,000lbs)
ARB 3"x10' Tree Saver (rated for 26,000lbs, 2 sliding sleeve protectors)
ARB Winch Cable Damper
ARB new style Snatch Block (rated at 38,000lbs)
ARB Large recovery bag (designed to carry a snatch strap, tree trunk protector, 9,900lb winch extension strap, snatch block, recovery damper, D shackles and a pair of gloves)

Both options cost the same.
Option one gives you chain, 4 shackles, and gloves, where option two gives you the winch line damper, and cool colors. Already have 4 shackles, so its not like I don't have any.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

id go option #1.
higher rated tree saver and snatchblock.
lower rated tow strap, but the chain, shackles and gloves make up for it.
