THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that sucks, i love state farm, mine even waves your first ticket, and i only have one, so its all good for me(it was for doing 79 in a 55)

I never understood this one...
I have had several tickets, from the age of 18 to 22 I would say I got pulled over 20+ times.
Had a probationary license once, got a special points eval, once.
NEVER ONCE did my insurance jump even the slightest bump for a ticket.

It jumped after accident 1, and then nothing after accident 2. and accident 3 they said "fault was not evident" (even though it was clear that I rammed the guys bumper) and it didn't go up.
..
It went up when my wife got on my policy.
it went down when I turned 25

there has never been a change based on a speeding ticket or stop sign or red light violation.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ross, funny that you mention the go-fer-it inserts. i just spent 4 hours in the machine shop rigging up a setup and drilling out my TRE seats for the inserts. pics to follow...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

3/4" ... another set would take me probably an hour and a half with the same setup because i remember what i did. it was my 4th try on the setup for one that was good enough. i'd do it for you, but i'm not going to be out here unless you come within the next couple days... sorry dude.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i miss having machine shop access. i should be back in the shop though at my workstudy back in school though

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sweeet my JKS tie rod should be waiting for me when i get hommmmme todayyyyy!

time to order a water pump!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

WJ swap > beefed up stock jks replacement

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

WJ swap = way more time off the road
WJ swap = another $750+ I don't have after the transmission being replaced
WJ swap = more polishing the d30. if i go any bigger than the 33s i'll probably learn from colin and others' mistakes and just go bigger from the get go

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

WJ swap = 3 days off the road (max) for me
1 for tear down and fab prep
1 for fab
1 to put back together
and that's if stuff goes wrong... i should be able to do it in 2 days

i will say this though:
WJ swap = way more expensive than 750

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

too much.

i bought it for 300 geared to 4.56 with the tru track
all TRE are new so figure 20-35 a piece x3
riddler: about 100
BJ's: about 100 bucks (and they're coming out in a week and a half too)
axle seals: 25 bucks
WJ swap stuff i think i'll be up near a grand all said and done

so... whatever that adds up to

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i got 100 into my 30, wich is the Ruff Stuff cover, and 475ish into my 8.25

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my 8.25 i have a lot into...

riddler: 120ish
zj disc conversion: 170 all said and done
4.56 + install = 150 + 250
no-slip = 400
other things i've done to it are negligible cost

i've probably put more than 60 bucks worth of gear oil into it in total though.
