Good. I was just making sure he wasn't gonna leave us out of the receiving end. I for one don't mind getting left out on the purchasing side.

Edit: Kyle too, as long as it doesn't decrease my receiving. :D

Hell everyone's included. We'll even let Anthony include himself! Ya know, cause we're nice like that.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm thinking a apn header, brown dog MM, a poly tranny mount, TMR .120 stiffeners for the front... and WJ stuff. i'm pretty sure i cracked my stock exhaust manifold at the naxja m&g and i've heard good things about the apn. i thought it had flex tubing in 2 places to relieve stress and now everything i'm reading is saying that it's just all big tube stainless. thoughts, anyone?

alright, yeah. I'll take all that too.

I have a header that has the flex in it like you're describing, not sure of the brand though. I haven't had a chance to install it yet though... So I guess what I'm saying is I'll take everything except the header. :D Oh, and I'm all set with the WJ stuff as well. Thanks anyway though, it really is super nice of you to offer all this to everyone, we appreciate it... :spin1:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

-You have something wrong with your MMs? Kinda seems like a waste of money until you have an issue to me. :dunno:
-I can't help ya on the header either, I got an OEM replacement for cheap when I dropped in the new engine.
-I've been debating buying the TMRs or just making my own...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah the TMR's would be sweet... but they're not very cost efficient. but no one else makes them. bill, any thoughts on making more? what sort of tools would you be using? i could probably do it with a band saw at school...

Ya, If the TMRs where $30-40 cheaper I'd just buy them (and I still might).
The biggest issue for me would be tracking down a sheet with decent enough size of 0.120". Metal ain't cheap these days, especially in sheet form.

I'd probably make one of my overly elaborate cardboard templates. Then copy it and cut it out on a combination of the plate saw and bandsaw. Throw a few holes in there and call it good. My bet is a 5-6 hours of work easy and one could almost mimic the TMRs to the letter.

Do the Brown Dog (or MORE) motor mounts, then go and get a new factory tranny mount. You don't really need the motor mounts to be poly either. MORE makes motor mounts that use the factory rubber LCA bushings, that is what I run on both Jeeps.

You won't need a poly tranny mount after you do the aftermarket motor mounts. I did this on my XJ, and the vibes were SOO bad that I couldn't see straight. I could feel my brain vibrating in my head at idle.

Let me know what you'd be wanting as far as the sheet steel, I'll see what I can get it for... might not be any better than a regular steel shop, but can't hurt to try :)

I have the APN and had it on my old 2-door. Worked fine, and fit the stock downpipe with no problems. Welds looked solid and it held together fine for the couple months I drove with it (going to put it in my current XJ). No flex pipes though. Only power increase was because the old header was cracked...probably nothing real better than stock though. The real PITA was 2 of the bolts you couldn't get at with a ratchet.

I'd get a stock header just for ease of replacement if I had to do it again.

X2. since i dont have access to a bandsaw whcih would seem to make this alot easier, i might just buy them when the time comes. somebody else needs to come out with a set. If one of the venders started making some for around $100 shipped, im pretty sure everyone would start buying them
