Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

we were looking at the DIY kits, both steel and wood ones, but we also figure its nearly impossible to carry anything of use up a spiral staircase

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

As far as I'm concerned, if you have heat you win.

Hey Alex, you might want to check the front of the unibody though, this was a tri-chain attached to the sway bar.

I had broken spider gears while trying to do this, it was not a happy Jeep.

Mark knows every Cherokee on the road...he's gotta have that eagle eye setup to have those camera shots!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That trip was awesome, it was the one and only time I have put my tire on the roof. It aint going up there again. I just trimmed and moved the stock flares up, one fell off on the highway before I made it to the bridge, I broke my spider gears, drove off the road 3 times, had to drive someone else's jeep home cause mine was on their trailer, my friend almost broke his finger, and he got carbon monoxide poisoning from the ride home.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya, I can't wait to roll mine.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My Jeep isn't driving back from RC under its free will, I've already told Colin that.

SWEEETT!!! Thats what I like to hear!!!:D:D:D

Not to worry though, the Pa/De branch of the NAC is highly skilled in cobbling junk together to get a Jeep out of the woods and driving (sometimes somewhat slowly/carefully...) home, or at least onto the trailer.

When I trailer my junk up, the deal me and my buddies have worked out is we can break ONE Jeep catastrophically... the rest have to go home under their own power. If we end up with TWO seriously broken rigs, then SOMEONE is buying me the diesel/food/beer for the additional round-trip!!!

:wierd::D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That sounds reasonable enough :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mmm....new tools. decided to upgrade all my 3/8" drive sockets and got a set of 1/2" drive metric impacts. im slowly but surely converting to all SK tools. i jsut cant justify buying snap-on or mac when i can get SK's cheaper and ive never really had a problem with them. only snap-on thing i have is my toolbox cause i got it brand new for half price when i was at wyotech
