no, but thanks. that's 1st gear*2.72*4.56, right?
i was looking for the difference in final drive ratio between my current set up and stock. 33s and 4.56 with the ax-15 is lower than stock, but i'm not sure by how much. i'll probably borrow my mom's gps and get some speed readings. i'm guessing i'm around 15-20% under stock...
You are going to hate me for mentioning this 'cause it'll get stuck in your head but here goes....I found these before on craigslist, and I want them, but they are a nice drive. Wouldn't even get a chance to get them until maybe next weekend either.

Just got back from "Yes Man". My girlfriend and I went and saw it.i just watched disaster movie....
I thought it was alright. Jim Carey has been better, but it was still good.
$10?x2. Definitely worth the $10, but not his best.
doesnt quite measure up to ace ventura?
$10?![]()

Wow... it was $11 for the both of us and I thought that was bad!
Heck no! I hate the city.Come move closer to Boston lol.

That Jeep you picked up needs new leafs, you and I both know it does.
Perfect time for some low 2-3" leaves in the rear, coil spacers up front (or spring for some low OME ones), decent shocks, 31" All-Terrains on Moabs... perfect DD.![]()
I noticed the leafs when I was looking at it. But no, I'm going to resist. I still have my old stock leafs, but I can't quite remember if they are that bad, I'm sure I inverted them a time or two.
I was thinking of Moabs too, I would love that, but then I remembered they are 16", and I just need the cheapest crap I can get. Also, nothing bigger than stock tires, I need the gas mileage.
I can't divert funds from the 4 door. (I'm trying to decide what to refer to each as, the 4 door or the green jeep?)
Anyway, on another note... anyone notice the sketch for the brackets for my rear lowers in the build thread? I think I am going to go with it, but I just keep thinking there might be a better way. Unfortunately I can't go with one solid crossmember as the driveshaft gets in the way. My tube die is a 6" CLR and I just can't make it fit without going through the floor. I can't do 3 or 4 bends either to make it all one piece as the link mounts need to be further in than the radius would allow. So ya... gonna grab a bite to eat and get to work on them.
Have these ideas crossed your mind? I'm sure I've seen the first design on some sort of car before, I don't know how much abuse it received or how strong it would be, I just did a quick sketch.
As for the second, I saw this deisng in a picture i have saved on my computer. I don't know how much you would want to drop the mounts below the frame rail though.

If you want to start there it wouldn't be bad, it probably needs to be done anyway. You are gonna have to drop the tank... have fun!Alright, so I'm off to try to see why the 2 door won't start.
Would you recommend checking the fuel pump/filter first? Train of thought was that since it ran out of gas, stuff could have gotten kicked up in the tank, then clogged the system?
