Is a 31 spline 9" a decent axle to run?

I think that's what i want...only con i see is the low pinion, but you can buy hunks of steel protect it. It probably has a funky 1330 ujoint yoke too and they're 5x5.5.

Found one already set up for an xj with the right gears for 200, which seems lie a decent price

I spoke too soon, controller doesn't work again, but the glass has been refilled

so the balistic adj coil buckets im getting aint gonna work, they make the springs sit out to far and just not enough room on the axle, so looks like im notching the frame rails with em

it is a very cheap axle to build, and can be built decently strong. The low pinion is one issue, but I have a pinion guard on mine, and its never been a major problem. get it, and buy the set of alloy shafts I have for one.

total bullshit, you can't put LP gears in an HP housing or vise versa, unless he replaced the center casting which is absolutely pointless because it's the same as an hp30 other than that.

Waggy 44 can be swapped to 5x5.5 easily and doesn't need to be narrowed.
