THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

We'll have to race at a later date. ;)

Hahah eeeeeeeeexcellent.

Oh, and get rid of the lockouts gets rid of a weak point and to of those allen bolts you somehow can't remove quickly. :laugh3:

I love my lockouts :D

On a different note, I'm looking for some 1-1.5" boomerang shackles and 1" poly spacers for the front now, just something to help clear those 30x9.5" a little better.

For the front, you could stack stock isolators?

PM me when you need that workbench :callme:

ooo, what size/kind of bench? i was thinkin of jsut buildin the frame out off some wood lying around here, then get like a 3'x6' piece of 1/4" from the top. ill, probly weld a set of jackstands on it so i can set up the hp60. then, when i wanna weld on it, i just have to throw the ground clamp on a corner of the bench. nothing beats a nice, solid welding bench.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

FWIW, i can take my D30 apart from driveable to all 4 ball joints out in under an hour...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just called south shore bearing and they want at least $200 to lengthen a driveshaft. I had my front driveshaft of the honcho lengthened for $100 by rhode island drive shaft. They're just far away...

If you want Carmelo theres a place not far from Baystate that does good driveshaft work. I can get ahold of them if you want and see how much.

I'd disagree. Just taking off the 6 allen head bolts that cover the lockout dial itself is slow enough.

I had to drill out one on each side of the D60 I just put in and I'd still rather have D44 or D60 and I hate grease. That crap gets everywhere.

What are you buying for tires? I didn't buy a spare, but I might snag a HUMVEE 37" for a spare to get me off the trail if one turns up local. It'll be a big difference in size from my 39" Pitbulls, but it'll get the job done if the super unfortunate event arises.

I'm need a 37" spare and recently saw a set of Humvee 37s for sale. If 3 of us need one it might be worth it if I can find them again.

I just found out that rhode island drive shaft went up $50 in pricing. I'm going to wait back to hear from a guy that might have a spare driveshaft. If he doesn't i'll be trying to lengthen an XJ one.

fun fact of the day: the machines used for cutting cold cuts in delis are made by hobart, the same company that does welders and a bunch of other stuff. (most of them are, anyway... i'm sure there are a few other companies)
