i am driving to NH friday night. should be fun.

stupid boss made an appointment for shocks on a bmw which calls for 8 hours of labor. I get to leave when that is done. Im hoping it shows up thursday night so I can get a head start, or doesn't show up at all so I can leave work early.

Yup. I've seen everything from 1-3" in my area to 1-2'. I'm just going to sit back and let it ride. Maybe stock up on beer. Other than that I'm all set. I don't fly out till Monday morning and we should be fine by then.

Good luck with the BMW uke: I wouldn't want to work on one of those with a deadline.

Colin, I bought my laptop from http://www.microcenter.com/ and had wifey pick it up in their store in Boston. Was the best deal I could find, and all the Harvard/MIT nerds buy there so it was good enough for me.

Lucas had come to the store a few times and I had no idea who he was the first 2. Nice guy, very down to earth.

Half the parts I used to build my computer came from microcenter.

Ha, nice guy is not what i would use to describe Lucas.

I've seen 6 different maps and not one of them is the same.

All they know is we're getting snow.
Beyond that it's all a game. I'm expecting 0.1"-20"

They don't have a clue what's going to happen where yet. At this point they might as well be saying 'Somewhere over the northeast region of the US, there's going to be some white stuff falling. There might be a lot of it.'

I hope it snows like a mother on Friday. I want to not go to work and go snow shoeing.

I hope it snows a lot so I can spend all night uprighting trailer trucks, then teach my pistol class on no sleep.

thats what i did with the YJ and would have done with the xj if i wasnt sick of trying to pass inspection and scared of my own handy work

in other new my brother got rear ended yesterday in his xj (black '00). from the sounds of what he was telling me is that he got hit high in the rear hatch and busted the hatch blew out the glass and a tail light. depending on what the insurance agent says there may be another slightly beat up xj coming up to be transformed into a trail rig

I heard as much as 50" in a 4 hour period for central mass. In fact the map showed that the only apocalypse-hit area is basically Southbridge. It was nice knowing you guys, I'm going out to fight tooth and nail for bread and milk at THE BIG BUNNY.

My bet is maybe a foot and a half. That's why I'm about to go finish up my winch bumper, so I can get out of my own goddamn driveway :shiver:

channel 5 says 12" in boston and up to 24" north and west
NOAA says 3" in boston by friday evening
cahnnel 7 says **** it 15-20" for all of boston

but they named this storm "Nemo"

damage doesn't see that bad (my mom just texted me the photo)

replace hatch, replace bumper, and replace driver light be mint. the KBB on it now is ~$3.8K

If the bumper only has that little dent and theres no hitch on the jeep, I doubt the rails have any damage.
