Yeah I know, I give my uncle shit for that all the time. He apologizes constantly because he thought he had a machined block and crank ready to go.

Even if I buy roller rockers, I'm still into this for under $2000. Which is pretty insane for what I'm getting.

I am going to rammstein Sunday arty:

Today I need to build a ginpole and swap a motor in the red jeep though. I hate that POS so much but I kinda need it. Pity I will never find out how long you can beat a blown up 4.0 before it explodes, I have around 8000 miles on it since the HG blew so far. I bet I can measure the fire deck erosion with a ruler.

got another quote...3.65/ft and if 600+ ft is ordered it's 3.55/ft. 1.75 .120 DOM.

also called marmon keystone back. 2.70/ft for anywhere from 12 lengths to 1000lbs, for the HREW. 12 lengths to 1000lbs for DOM 4.53/ft


I'm thinking get enough people here(?) and on NEOW interested to hit the 600ft mark on the 3.55/ft DOM and go that route.

Anyone want some?

trail worthy fab just released new light bars... prob the same deal as the one the guys have been pawning out of general4x4 on pirate for the past couple week, but at least this time theres a manufacturer behind these.

40" bar is $475. my credit card is ripping itself out of my pocket. idk how long i can keep it at bay.

I'd probably take 2 more sticks of 1.75 x .120. I like having tube around for stuff.

How many deserts are there on LI that you'll need a 40" LED light bar?

Cool. So I'll have you for 40ft give or take, and rob for 100. That puts it over the 300' mark right there once ya add mine, so it'll be at worst $3.65/ft. If people on NEOW want another 300' worth we'll get the $3.55

Not many places to use those things around, can't use them on the road.

I have a plan to throw some lights up top on a flip down mount when I get to building a new Jeep. I'm not fooling myself though, I know I'm putting them up there so they look cool, and I'll be lucky if I turn them on once a year.

I think what Colin is saying is that I'd rather eat the $12 you'll save by getting the 600' to not have to deal with organizing a group with people you don't know, and have to worry about them getting you money on time and picking up their metal.
