Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
That was before you had this backfire problem.
That was before you had this backfire problem.
Shake your wiring harnesses and shit
I can't imagine spending an hour and a half with a wire wheel to clean one knuckle. Pretty sure I cut everything off, cleaned up, and flapdisc'd flat my entire front axle in that amount of time.
That was before you had this backfire problem.
SHAKE YO WIRING HARNESSES LIKE A BABY
Sure whatever why not worth a shot
buy my XXXXing creepy crawlers so i can get bling rims and tires
You're the idiot that bought tires that actually have traction. Wake up bro, no one gives a shit about performance.
Very true, but I dont have a fuel pressure gauge to test it again today. Here's why it's complicated to figure this out, everything on this jeep is habba jabba bullshit I've slapped on.
The fuel filter and fuel sock were covered in mudbutt. Changed the filter twice, dropped the tank, made sure the fuel had no water or shit at the bottom and cut the sock off. Ran mint for maybe a week.
Took the tune up parts off, they were total shit. Replaced them with used parts from a junk car that were twice as nice as the ones in there but still half as good as new. Ran better but still like shit. Got a tune up from jeff, swapped that all in and the cap was paper mache and the tab broke when I put it in, my fault I guess for not being turbo careful putting it in but it's definitely weaker than the used one I had to swap back in by far. Anyway, runs even worse.
Hoping I just XXXXed up the firing order, but doubt that's it.
Like new used cat and muffler
New TPS, cleaned the throttle body.
I've ran dry gas and fuel injector cleaner through it everynow and then(I find it in junk cars so god knows if that shit is even any good)
Leaning towards hoping it's the coil. It had a crack in the plastic casing. So with the car running I sprayed water directly on the crack and it did nothing so I figured the crack didn't mean anything. Not an exhaustive test so maybe it's the coil...
Reading up on it could be- Intake/exhaust leak, bad gas, ckp, tps, coil, ignition, fuel pump, o2 sensor and a bunch of other things that have caused similar shit for other people. All of which could essentially be suspect on this piece of shit.
Have a scanner, throws no codes. All sensors read fine AFAIK, fuel trim tables maybe go a little rich or lean but basically operate in the norm last time I checked.
Fire away:explosion
