THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

8 links are the new shit

actually seen it on an xj before

www.xjdb.com has a lot of stupid xj suspension ideas from like 10-15 years ago that obviously didnt make it

Revolutionary caster adjusters and revolver shackles are where its at dude

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Put a tune up on it in the known right order without XXXXing it up.

A fuel pump with no sock on it will probably not live that long, especially after it sucked up mudbutt for a while. There's no way you got the entire tank sparkling clean.

Let me know if you want to borrow the gauge if you don't get it running today.

And get me some throttlebodies mudbutter.

Checked the order, fine.

People run without the fuel sock alot. It's common for fuel socks to collapse causing more harm then good. There was ZERO shit in my tank. Mudbutt would have had to have cumulative.

I have a PO132 and a code telling me my downstream 02 sensor is disconnected. From the quick search i've done one can't cause the other, which is good since I lost my downstream sensor.

Engine grounds aren't falling off but I didn't try and take them off to clean them or anything.

Totally clueless to be honest. Talked to a guy that stops by here and a coil would cause hard start and issues when cold. He thinks it's the crankshaft position sensor but it runs just as well hot or cold or whatever.

But what I can say it is most affected by load. Trying to do wheelstands make it pop and studder like crazy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sounds like tps to me, but I could be wrong. In fact it happens all the time.

You put a new one on it - did you test it? Check to make sure the wiring harness to your upstream and downstream o2 sensors are not shorting or worn.

TPS is new and as far as I know it's good, behaves exactly like the one I pulled though(So I am ASSUMING I just replaced it when it was fine). Could be that I replaced it with another faulty one.

Upstream o2 is brand new the wires going to it look fine. The ground to the block aren't broken or anything and don't look messed up or incredibly dirty. Sprayed them with brakekleen. Swapped the asd relay with AC relay.

I'll do the ol' unplug and replug the connector test for the upstream o2 and see if that's gonna do anything.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Also, has a cracked manifold ever created problems for any of you? Every xj/mj I've owned has had that same crack in the manifold. Supposedly that is one cause for the code? I think the po132 might be more wiring related. Either something wrong with the wiring itself or something internally in the o2 sensor itself.

It was always just down on power, and drank gas like crazy. Never had an issue with it doing what yours does.

When you scrap it take the radiator, coolant hoses, water pump, thermostat housing. We need it for the lemons XJ.

I'm going to just unplug the tps, inducing open loop and try driving it again. That should tell me if it's the o2 sensor or tps. When it cools down I'll mess with the upstream o2 wiring. Then tomorrow I'll weld the manifold. Looks like you can do it with it still in the jeep.

I still have the CSF radiator outta mine, it needs to be flushed and I soldered some pinholes shut on a few rows, but you're welcome to try and use it if you want. Hoses too.

Yes please!

Why don't we just drive my jeep in the lemons dude. We can just carpool down in it, race, and drive it home. I'll fix this o2 sensor bullshit and it's ready to race.
