Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I know that when doing a trackbar you ideally want it to be at the same angle as the draglink, but how far off is still considered acceptable. I built my new brackets this weekend and am off about 2 degrees. Crappy cell phone pic:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Add another layer of 1/4" on the bottom of the framerail where the TB mount goes. That should lower the mount just a little bit and get the angles to match.

I realized after posting that I hadn't even flexed the suspension before coming in from the garage. The driver coil just makes contact with the frame bracket so it will have to come off either way. So I'll add that when I put it back together. Thanks man.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Dumb question but do you guys think I could get $1500 for my axles? Or maybe a bit more or less?

Rear: XJ width 9", disk brakes, chromo shafts, 4.88s, Detroit locker, ruffstuff pinion guard, extra 3rd member, new axle bearings/seals.
Front: D30, 4.88s, truetrack, ruffstuff cover, 1-ton otk steering, otk steering trackbar bracket, and 2 sets of spare shafts

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I may end up driving my MJ to winterfest.

Haven't fully decided yet, I need to tear the ass end off the driver frame rail and replace it with quarter inch box tubing.

Billy, if I end up doing this, I'm gonna want to buy that trans off you asap. Hell, I'll stop by and pull it myself if that means I get it faster :laugh2: also I forgot to talk to you about firewood today.

Edit "ma/ct/ri post a pic of your dumb truck/cheerleader jeep with no price, specs, or location" wtf is this

The fact that the rear is XJ width just made me tear up a little.
