Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Mine's been working fine.

For about 3-4 years now I think?

Diehard Platinums in my Dodge are awesome as well.

id say you dont get what you pay for.

3-4 years is nothin'

but i have seen them shit the bed without warning after as little as 2 years

I paid $100.

If I get another 3-4 years out of it I'd say I definitely got my moneys worth.

Considering I didn't even have it hooked up to a trickle charger for the year it was sitting in my garage.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Optimas *used* to be good. Not so much anymore.

Optima now defines winching as 'extreme usage' and can/has used that to deny warranty claims when they crap out after not even a year.

They've been slammed to shit since the sales started. Took longer than usual to get the second half of my big order because some stuff was still being made, but it all showed up well before I needed it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My boss showed up at the office at 11:55 today, ate lunch, and then by 2:30, how do I get a schedule like that? Not to mention he worked from home yesterday and is taking tomorrow/Friday off.

Then again he asked if I'm going to be taking any vacation time next week and when I told him "maybe" his reply was just "it should be pretty quiet, definitely a week where there's no need to show up at the break of dawn and we can probably leave pretty early in the afternoon", more or less implying that I shouldn't take time off since we won't be in the office much anyway... no complaints there.

We just received an upper and lower control arm from Mopar for a XJ, TJ, ZJ that are already plated on the bottom of them.

Take the stock control arm...weld some plate onto the bottom of it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm imagining Bill driving around in a 30's pick-up trying to court a girl now...

HA!! That just made me think of the Eagles for some reason.....

"Its a girl, my lord, in a flatbed Ford slowing down to take a look at me."

Diehard Platinums in my Dodge are awesome as well.

I got my dad a pair of those for Xmas. To the tune of like $450.

Fact, when they were still made in Colorado and before Mexico. The redtop in black jeep is pushing 7 years old with abuse and multiple times drained dead without problems.
