So next month I get to start learning to do machine shop work at another school. Which has zero parking, no affordable parking close by and in busy ass boston. So i'm stuck taking the gay ass train in. So I'm thinking about selling my Rodeo since I'll have the Honcho done soon enough and won't need a commuter car. Plus I can get another car just about anytime anyway.

Reason being I was thinking about buying a lathe and milling machine. Just typing "lathe" and "milling machine" in craigslist gets me.

Not that those are good machines or not, I wouldn't know. But for proof of concept I could get both machines for $1700 and money left over for tooling.

Go find a Bridgeport for $150 and beat the crap outta it until youve learned nothing and shaved a 14b.

buy cheap shitty ones from horrible freight and ebay. or a bridgeport.

Theres always a couple Bridgeports on CL for under $1000.

...I can find $1000 ones on my own on craigslist just fine. I actually posted a $800 machine just now. Not a bridgeport but I wasn't posting the actual machines I planned on buying.

Show me where to get $150 ones.

Well the Briarwood is not getting done today, or any time this month. It can go f*ck itself, I'm tired of working on that thing.

I going to commandeer the wrangler in 2 weeks, drive that thing for a while since it has just been sitting around.

The pedals come with cleats that adapt the shoes to the pedals. All you need is the shoes. They come in European sizes (i'm a 49) and they all fit really different. I would just get him a gift card to REI for the shoes (unless he gave you the shoe and size). They have a pretty good selection of shoes.
