Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
Looks like I'm picking up an NV4500 and an NP241 today in one shot

Just found out I can use a Chevy NP241 and swap inputs to a Dodge one as well.
Found one on CL for $100.
Awesome.
Just found out that I have to use a Chevy clutch disc when I use the Advance Adapters trans adapter to mate a Dodge NV4500 to a Ford small block bellhousing.
Only with Two handed weapons. I think you need to have level 50 or something.
Yours is definitely more of a clusterXXXX than mine
I wish I trusted a T5. That'd be easy as shit.
There's a rare factory bellhousing to match the 3.0V6 to a T5, but even if I gotta go to the small-block pattern, they used a shit-ton of those behind Mustang 5.0s and I'd just run a Jeep T5 that came factory with a Dana 300 on it.
Then I'd also lose the granny 1st gear.
Any thoughts/experiences with this?
I don't know shit about bolting transmissions to engines but would a SM420 or SM465 be easier? SM420 has a 7.05:1 1st gear according to Novak.

Don't plenty of 5.0 guys run more power than you are through them? Are the Ford versions any different than the Jeep versions as far as case/gears/bearings/outputs?
Wouldn't be a bad idea to run it through a doubler. Could you keep your 231/300 doubler and just slap it on the back of it?
Not a bad way to go.
I love that grimmjeeper calculator site.
