This is where I got on the bumper this weekend. It basically needs to be welded up. This is it sitting on the new bumper mounts, with the light sitting in the hole.

Still not sure what I want to do about the blinkers. Ross suggested maybe moving the blinker over, or putting smaller blinkers in. Ideally, I would have moved the lights towards the center some, but I couldn't, as they would have interfered with the mounts.

Colin said get rid of the blinkers all together...

I think you should cut out the blinkers and move them over! Make it look good Mark! Then you'll feel bad about crunching it on a rock the first time you go wheelin'

There is going to be 1/4" plate on both sides of the light, as well as below, so I'm not worried about that. They will also be recessed, so I won't be able to do a head on hit unless its a pointy rock. If the bulbs blow, time for either Yellostars or HID's.

Haha, I'm uploading a picture of that now, I was going to say "thanks to Ross, I can now fit a roller fairlead under the mount. Thanks to Carmelo, I wasn't able to "

its not hitting anywhere near the radiator, and im not launching the frt of my jeep into a tree, the drivers side mount seems fine but the pass side mount moves forward under load, either way mounts will be orderd thurs, now should i go more or brown dog?

Oh, Ross, I just had a thought. I just ran out and got those small blinker/marker lights I got when we were at Harbor Freight.

What do you think of round blinkers?

if your willing to go through all the work of cutting and modifying and welding a stock one, you might as well as start from scratch. probably alot simpler and easier too.
