jeep is driving again yay! my first real sye lol. smooooooth as hell.

gotta make a tcase linkage with hardware store heims tomorrow bc the stock rubber sleeves are just effed and i didnt want to deal with them.

I don't know if you saw how much chicken I ate at Wright's, but I was right up there with some of the bigger eaters. :laugh:

It amazes me that I'm able to do what I do, but hey, it works I guess. I eat whatever I want, whenever I want, drink too much beer, I'm active but I don't have any kinda regular exercise stuff that I do...doesn't matter. I've been at this same spot since the late 90's. :wierd:

Gonna go downstairs and get something slow cooking for tomorrow...got another pork shoulder, gonna try the same recipe with a different salsa and some roasted garlic added. I've never roasted garlic before, probably gonna make my kitchen smell all kinds of good...

Thanks guys. Feels weird and good that I made it through, but I was just starting to enjoy it up there.

Well that was a very interesting drive home from Fast 5. Right when I got on 495 from Ross's there was a ton of firetrucks/ambulances/police pulled over on the other side of the highway. Must have been a fatality, as I drove past the first few trucks I saw a car that had clearly rolled over some propped up on its side.

As I got closer to the bridge I could see in the distance a cop car racing ahead. When I finally got to it, it had its spot light on a red sedan that was spun out on the side of the median with the fender messed up and the front tire gone/possibly rim gone too, didn't get a good enough look. The cop had its front spot light on and front lightbar flashing, so I'm not sure if he was pulling up to them to help, or if they had been running. They did kind of have a deer in headlights "oh crap, this can't be good" look on the drivers face from what I saw.

I then got onto the backroads near my house and I come around the corner and some dude is walking in the street and flags me down. At first I drove past him a little, but pulled over in case he was in trouble/ had crashed. Turns out his GF got mad at him, pulled over and told him to get out. He did and she drove away. I let him use my cell to make some calls, but I just was not comfortable driving him, even though he was offering me $300 for the ride. I had one of those "this is how you end up dead" moments. Not that the kid was really scary or anything, I just didn't feel like risking it. He flagged down another car and when he went to talk with them, I decided to leave.

I was sitting next to you, you put down a lot of chicken.

For roasted garlic, I put the top off a few heads of garlic, put the garlic in a pan, sprinkle it with Parmesan and olive oil, and bake for an hour. Then spread the cloves on ritz crackers.

I have a recipe for a cranberry pork shoulder somewhere, I need to dig it out soon

almost wrecked the yaris tonight, apperently abs dont work at 70mph, had a plastic undercaraige peice or somthin like that fly at me, kinda scared the shit out of me, saw a bazzilion Ferrari's ate some awsome food, looked at ross's stupid jeep and shante, watched a cool movie, the saw some stupid ricers get busted fo racin in the parkin lot now time for sleep

Yeah I know. :laugh: I dunno where it all goes...

Got 7 minutes of an hour left on a few chopped up heads loosely wrapped in foil, baking at 275*. My house smells like a pizza joint.

Technically it's not something that goes in a traditional carnitas recipe, but I think it'll work well with the flavor, if I don't overdo it. Gonna be a nice experiment.

My carnitas recipe is simple: pork, chopped onions, minced chipotles & adobo, green salsa. Slow-cook forever, shred, then run it through the broiler a few times to crisp the ends. Planning on adding some of the roast garlic bits to the slow cooker broth and seeing what happens.

And I'm still in degraded mode. So much for junkyard runs this morning as I had planned. At least I'm feeling physically alright today and I can move w/o my head pounding. :laugh: Just still in that groggy "wtf did I do" mood

Father got home from the hospital at 11 last night, on a bunch of meds but seems to be doing well.. so that's good. Was going to ask if he wanted to take me to pick up the motorcycle but he is napping so I guess I have to wait for my buddy to get out of work.

Anyone near western ny with a tire machine and wanna make some cash? Got 4 kevlars that I need mounted and possibly balanced and my "monro muffler" buddy just transferred to a new shop.
