Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh almost forgot...on a croissant!
I prefer poppy seed bagels but almost no where sells them anymore, so I just get sesame seed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Damnit Turner Steel doesn't have any 1.5 x .120 angle. Smallest they have is 3 x 2 x .188 angle.

I really don't want to go to home depot/lowes for that.

I want to pad the fuel cell mount with rubber (adhesive backed) from mcmaster (93625K235). A 10' strip gives me just enough to cover (2) 1.5" straps, and a 1.5 angle base.

WTF?

Is there a poppy seed shortage in new england or something?

There are 3 places within a half mile of where I'm sitting that I could go get a poppy seed bagel right now.

I only get one of those sammiches twice a month or so and all bets are off as to what part of New England I'm in when I do get it. Just seems like most places around here don't have them anymore. :dunno:

I want to build a cheap/free sub box for my civic. Anthony, got any stuff laying around that I could steal from you? I have an amp already. I need a sub (maybe 8" or 10") and I want to make a box that fits under the spare tire cover.

All I need to do is replace the control arms and dial in my caster so she doesn't pull like crazy on the highway and i'll be good to go. I'll do that Friday after work.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

laminate tops are mad easy, I can build an entire one in an hour or two. I might wonder over there later when I have more time and make a post.

Fawking D-max, got the hubs and everything torn down off the AAM 11.5. Big stuff!!! E-brake shoes are worn down the metal, searching parts online now and then heading up to Napa.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

how hard was it to install your rear locker? I've heard doing an aussie on a c cliped axle sucks

Bob @ Baystate installed it when he rebuilt the 8.8. I haven't taken it apart yet because it hasn't given me any trouble. I've just changed the fluid a couple times.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Alright, sorry about that Billy.

Best I could do is have them in Westboro Saturday night at 8 p.m. which probably doesn't help you too much.

When I did the no-slip in my 8.25 it wasn't bad. Just make sure everything gets aligned properly. The c-clips are easy to get off the axle shaft. After you take the cross pin out just push the shaft it in and wiggle the shaft rotationally and they fall off.
