Anthony, I filed my paperwork on the 1st or 2nd day of July, and I just checked my permit said it was issued the end of August. I didn't get it in the mail until September though.

The longest I had to wait was when I got my concealed carry permit. Took 9 days and that's because I didn't have time to go to the police station to pick it up. $10 and 2 weeks after turning 18 I was legal to carry concealed.

ugh. Was that your LTC A or just FID? I guess the process would have to go through similar hoops...

That's purrdy. I think I'm going to pick up a sig for my birthday. I can have my concealed carry permit at 18 but can't legally buy my own pistol until I'm 21. That's the extent of gay in my state.

That was my LTC, never had a FID because there wasn't any need for me at 18, and its the same exact class and most likely process for FID and LTC.

I also had heard from a person or two that I got mine fairly fast.

Are you in an "unrestricted" friendly town?
