Ross, I managed to get a pair of 42s into the back of red jeep, I could have fit 3 but didn't want to lift another and was only 1 inch off the bumpstops by then.

Hey Keith, any chance you want to trade a 231 or two for a full set of bright red non power doors off a 94 with tinted glass? I don't really need more 231s but they are worth about the same and take less space than these damned doors, and I seem to recall you mentioning wanting to make half dooors...

No way man, I got Tinky's doors on the side of my garage now. I'd take them if I hadn't already bought them from Colin. Unless you take Tinky's doors and my 231 I will.

I need to start cutting down my spare 2dr doors to make some half doors. Maybe I will start this week since my drivers side real door won't be going back on too easily :gee: Anyone happen to have hinges for driver/passenger doors? (only need door side of the hinge).

Doesn't matter about what Jeep it was, it was a 2 door. Ya, the Jeep itself sucked, but I didn't like the 2 door aspect of it.


Apparently "That will buff out!" can not be said about the rear pillar on the passenger side.

Do what you want, it's your money/time. I was going to do the same to Tinky Winky, but decided it was more worth it to just beat it to death and then part it out rather than part it out earlier. I already had a bunch of time invested. I do understand about wanting a nice DD, that's why I bought my CTD (that and it can tow my shitboxes).

now that i think about it, i've owned 10 cars that i've registered and not one of them was a 4 door. 2 pickups, 2 wranglers, several XJs and an RX-7

I like the coverage on these, they would cover up some of the dents real nice. What I don't like is the fact that they use BHCS, there aren't as many screws as others such as JCR, and they don't have tail light provisions (I hate that ugly tail light 'protector' piece, as well as that bar but they can be ordered without the rail)
