Regarding the calipers... damnit ford! The drivers side caliper has the splitter or T thing connected to the soft line (whatever it's called, the thing that splits the rear brake fluid to the two sides). I either have to plug up one of the outlets on the splitter or buy another passenger side soft line (which doesn't have the splitter) and hope it matches up to the drivers side caliper OK. Not really a big deal, just an annoyance and another $17 out of my pocket.

Anyway, off to add another coat of paint to the backing plate and to look for my flaring tool. Hopefully the tool is in my garage bag, otherwise flaring waits till tomorrow when I have light to dig around in the shed.

If they're the same as exploder lines, which it sounds like they are, the second passenger line will fit fine on the driver side.

Good to know. I thought they should but I wasn't sure. I'm actually almost certain the calipers are identical from one side to the other. The backing plates are the same (one caliper sits behind the axle and one sits in front) so it makes sense the calipers would be as well. Just checked NAPA and it says that the passenger side is 'available now' so hopefully I can pick one up on Friday afternoon.

my ex really liked soco and lime... I am more of a fan of whiskey mixed with MOAR WHISKEY myself.

If this house purchase goes through (lawyers are wrangling atm)... you guys are more than welcome to show up for the first/last bender of a party that will occur shortly after I get title. Bring your gas cans of booze.

I prefer coke for mixing myself, but lime is a good addition, I'm just out of lime juice at the moment.

I like my scotch but for a week night I will mix a soco and coke or gin and tonic. A good glass of scotch once in a while and a cheaper whiskey (burbon or otherwise) for "normal" drinking.

And first/last? Only one? weak. Or is it the only party that will occur shortly after you get the title, i.e. there will be more to follow just not 'shortly' after you get the title :D

Well, there will likely be more parties, but none as wild as this one. This one doesn't really require the walls to remain intact so long as the windows/frames are not broken, future parties will require that people don't damage the place... thus the first/last bender.
