So staying till 6:30 last night worked out well. My boss and I just burned through the remaining drives that we had to rework and update. I mentioned I may try to take off at 4 today and hit up the tool store and get back down to Franklin to meet a bunch of people for cornhole after work.... the boss man said if the drives that need work are done and I have nothing else lined up just take off whenever. :thumbup:

On that thought... Ken, what time you getting out of work tomorrow? If I take off from work at 3:30 to head to the tool shed I will be long gone from Worcester by the time you are there, so if it works for you I can meet you tomorrow after work, whenever you get out... that work?

around 1700 I think... should be in worcester by 1730.

Looking out the window right now is maddening, this is perfect jeep work weather.

anybody got any:
axle shims
front brake lines (thinking i might just straighten out the hard line though)
shocks good for 3" of lift
steering box spacer (between the box and the rail)
hitch
gas tank skid
t-case skid

She'll be doing some of the easier stuff that we do. I'll get her to join UJ so she can wheel with us as well as the NEA events.

Alright, I think I will ride up and grab the seatbelt tomorrow then. I want to try and be back down here by 5ish today.



And I also need to find some axle shims. Gotta get that SYE in and shim it up.

Will it work for the 242?

Not sure. I have never seen a 242 TBH. It's the stock skid.

The small one in the picture in frotn of the diff skid. It connects from the stock crossmember to the "frame rail"

Wow, I kindof wasn't really expecting the guy at the tool shed to have a tap wrench for a 1/2" square shank... he does. Awesome, maybe I can get my steering started this wkend after all, as long as I can find a sturdy enough bench to mount a vice on.

That reminds me - they have tap wrenches that fit up to 3/4" at Sears for 20 bucks. Check the automotive aisle.
