THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

finish the jeep just in time to come get loaded and piss all over everything.

sounds like a fun time to me.

I like your realistic approach.

Don't unregister it if its cheap. You're going to want the minimum of liability on it, and you have to have plates in MA to get any kind of insurance.

if i unregister it today and get it on the road for fall crawl, i'll save 500+ in insurance...

i'm not going to say i'm going to get it done for nacfest. that happened last year. if i didn't have DW, i would have been done, though.

Oh damn that's a lot then.

I'm paying sub 500 for mine for the whole year, but I paid it all up front.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, i do have a couple, but they're all old.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have nothing on my record, but I have full coverage on my truck. It's about 900 for the year.

Prob about $1400 for both for the year in total but I've just been paying it off up front when the first bill comes in.

My XJ is about $513 I think but that is paid monthly (I should just pay it all off at once like I usually do).

I actually just received some insurance paperwork yesterday for the car and dual sport (I think it is time to renew soon). It did give my total quote for all my vehicles. I am somewhere right around $1900 per year for everything. That includes about $950 for the car (full insurance), Jeep, and 2 motorcycles that are in the $100-$190 range (each).

Thinking of it, I have to double check those numbers since $1900 seems a bit high. Hmmmm.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Holy Fawk! Everetts wants $100 per axle shaft. I could buy the whole damn axle for that much! Off to the NAC Classifieds

Then again the guy might have assumed that I wanted me to have them pulled for me... I will be heading there this weekend either way and I will ask again when i get there how much if I pull the shafts myself. I made a list of what I need from the JY and I already forget half of the list. Damnit, I know I posted it on here somewhere. Time to go find it. I have more stuff to add to it; like a new carpet and headliner if I can find them in good condition.
Good LORD! Screw that. 30 bucks each at Sam's, including unit bearings in my case because I was pulling front shafts. 100 for the whole axle. I bet he did think you wanted them pulled.

holy crap my XJ and subie together are just over $100 a month. you guys have a few speeding tickets? lol
I pay 177/mo for my MJ and XJ together. It's mostly because I'm "principally garaged in Worcester" :puke:

Also, I get no mileage deduction on the XJ, though my bet is that next year I'll drive the XJ about 4 thousand miles and the MJ about 28 thousand... wish I'd bought one of these a long long time ago :D

Things on my record: $100 speeding ticket in NH, failure to observe traffic control device in NY. I'm pretty sure one of those didn't get reported to MA and the other was ignored under the "first one is free" rule.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

comes with a 1 night stand?

Maybe they should have worded that differently...

That seems high but I know its cheaper if you keep it together because once you split it up they start pricing each piece. Considering I've paid $150 for an axle complete disc to disc it seems high. I believe they want $200 for an 8.8 if they pull it.

Yeah. I gotta say, when they charged me 30 bucks each for my unit bearing+axle shafts I pulled, the thought went through my head that next time I should just pull the whole axle and sell the housing+gears+knuckles+calipers+steering on here/cl and come out a bit ahead of the game.

I dislike the fact that now I have to actually read the titles of threads to make sure I'm not going into a bunch of tech talk.
