Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

scott, yuo decide what your doing with the mj?

I think my buddy that picked it up with me may be buying it. He would wheel it and use it how it should be used; he was looking for a ranger or something to build for a trail rig and wanted that as soon as he went wheeling with us for the day at lobsters and then saw the MJ. I was really hoping to build/run it as a DD but I think I decided that I should put my $$ into one Jeep rather than trying to budget it between two rigs.

So y'all will be seeing him in the club sooner or later I am sure.

And on that note, I may be selling my altima in a wk or 2 for a supercharged, race built '95 mustang cobra  fawk yeah! Built by a race shop, engine swap in the early 2000's, full suspension swap in the past couple years.. Have the Jeep for a DD in the winter and the stang for the summer... That might be a better DD option :D esp since the 95 stang has pretty close to half the miles that my08 altima does

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

how do the lights look? and yeah those suckers are huge they shine hella bright though

They look damn nice. a little skuffed up (the covers) but I was expecting that from used lights

Edit: as soon as I saw these I sent out my order for another 4 from overland (more lights plus replacement parts). I am thinking about setting up 2 inside the rear glass (drop down from the hatch) for reverse lights. The only issue will be fabbing up some form up shield to prevent reflection. I want to keep all the lights at bumper level or inside the rig; I will figure it out eventually.

Awesome looking lights though; thanks. Hope to get them set up or at least try them out and make sure the bulbs are OK as soon as I get my Jeep back from having gears installed.

Im gonna go with a bit smaller lights for my jeep, I orginally bought them off a friend for my roof rack but they were too wide to all fit, and i figured two big ass lights would look stupid. but the bulbs did work when i bought them, so they should be fine.

awesome. as stated no complaints so far and chances are even if bulbs are dead I will blame shipping, not you.

But yeah, these are huge ass lights. Initially I was considering placing them on some custom A-pillar mounts though after thinking about it I figured they would be too big; after seeing them... def too big

I have considered making some form of custom tube "visor" that will overhang the windshield and allow the lights to mount below that; keep them out of the way and at the same time keep them in sight at all times. Plus where they are long range lights they won't cause as much reflection off the hood as a wide area light would.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

this guy (right here) made it to work super early. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

oh well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Will be at work in half an hour. Today I refuse to stay one minute past 1700, it's about time I got a life and removed myself from the office on time

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah, I am thinking tonight may be a 1600 or 1630 night. Granted I know that I will end up sitting around the house sending out emails until 2100 but at least I would be able to spend time between emails doing my own stuff

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

1510 for me :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have work until noon, then class for five and a half hours, then i have to wait for kate to be out at 7.

Probably do some homework or something after class if I'm not dead by then.
