a 4bt would be nice in a XJ/MJ, and i would love to do that at some point, but for now i want a 6bt so i can tow things like houses, 3 car trailers, 5th wheels.......

remember the UJ run back in April where i walked up a sloppy section at the end of the day and everyone else struggled including you? my MTR's have fowllowed every one with there muds and swampers wether it be raining or dry

i do recall that... it seems like they work really well when they have good tread (as any tire seems to) but when they get down in tread (i'm thinking of billy's old 35's...) they bring the suck.

I WOULD consider a dually.. only issue is that if I got the truck it would be my "reliable DD" aka if my other vehicle(s) were out of comission I would be driving the truck. So with the amount of towing I planned on doing a non-dually would be fine. Then again if I did have a dually I would probably just tow that much more so it may work out :dunno: I just figured non-dually would get me some better fuel economy and less tires to buy

Whats wrong with DD'ing a dually? its way more badass.

i never notice billy airing down his tires much either, mine work good at 10, great at 8 and spectacular at 7psi, if someone finds me a good set of 3 or 40" old style MTR's for 16.5 wheel id so ditch the sx's in a second

that's a good point. he did always run them at like 30 psi...

Whats wrong with DD'ing a dually? its way more badass.

Not saying it's not badass. I would love to be able to afford DD'ing a dually. But DD'ing a non-dually would be easier on the pocket.

Though if I could find an old super cab F350 (or whatever I linked to in my earlier post edit) and swap a cummins/4500 into that then I would DD that all day and all week. I wouldn't be able to say no to that.

id actaully prefer to swap a CTD and nv4500 into something slick and make it a sweet DD.
something like a J20, late 70's f250/350, or something else that sparks my interest.

i dont see DRW being any more then the SRW trucks i like. i also want a longbed which makes a dually more apealling since most trucks are ghey with their shortbeds.

Not my earlier comments regarding wanting a long bed I agree 100%. The only short bed I would want is an MJ or similar truck IF it was going to be an offroad vehicle.. but I have my XJ for that so I want long bed.

them tires looked like the khumo mt's a friends had, they completly sucked, couldnt grip for shit and had hella weak sidewalls
