I hear you there... I went to NAPA and AAP a total of seven times for a pan gasket+filter set, rear seal, and front seal for the new AW4. Their parts databases should be titled "a glorious work of fiction."

Now I'm just being a lazy sack not installing it :dunno: "pretty sure" I have all the parts I need at this point.

I think are just still tired from pulling it.....you might also have some hard feelings for the tranny. You must defeat the tranny and show it who's boss! :D

I'm getting all the tranny whipping out of the way on the old one, mostly I drive in binary now... either the pedal's all the way down, or I'm not even touching it. It's lasted a surprising amount of time! I think it just likes it rough or something.

If they aren't punctured/dry rotted and have an OK tread wear pattern, I'd go for it

so i'm here in Bakersfield CA right now and took a short stroll to get some food since i've been awake since 4am and probably will be up 24 hours today with this interview and shit.

a side note though, THERE ARE SO MANY FLATBILLER TRUCKS OUT HERE!!!

Ah CA. Part of me wouldn't mind moving there... the other part says F*CK THAT!! Though mid to northern CA may be better than SoCal. I do have to admit if I could find an apt with a couple other people so it wouldn't be too expensive I would probably move out there for a couple years, just to live somewhere else for a change :dunno:. And I was gonna say that if you do move out there I would have to swing by and heckle you or get you out to grab a beer or something next time I am out in CA for training... but Bakersfield is 2.5 hours from my work... You could always come down to Santa Ana for a beer though :laugh:

EDIT: Scott - yeah, gonna call my current company and be like "unless you can beat 1275/yr for the cherokee or 2100/yr for both, with x+y coverage, I'm gone", also - mind forwarding me the contact info for your agent you were talking about? I'm hoping I can get it under 1800/year, but expecting that to be a long shot.

I'm questioning it because I KNOW I have a ticket in NY, and another in NH. My bet is that one of them got taken care of by the "first one is free" rule in Mass, and the other one somehow didn't get reported to the RMV. If they don't realize that, it's fine with me though.

EDIT2: Wow. Firefox just crashed, and when it opened again, all three of the streaming music players I use started playing at the same time. To say I was confused is an understatement... two of them usually don't work at the office.

Eh I'm enjoying the doppelganger thing on facebook more. It's pretty fun to see people put up pictures of famous people that they look nothing like.

i love it when people think metric 8.8 bolta are equal to Grade 8 bolts. Makes you think about how many times they used a Grade 5 equivalent bolt.
