awesome. So, I went and got the red Jeep today. Started off with a full tank (thanks Sean!!) and drove all the way home and a bunch of other places, probably 3hrs total, and still over half a tank. Fawk yea! Highway cruiser for sureeee :thumbup:

Well I came a c-hair away from owning a great looking 83 SJ Cherokee but kept my hand off the cash and avoided another project. It was a good deal but a couple issues it had I just dont have the time for right now. Sux. Oh well back to the other projects at hand.

Front axle is out of my comanche. I haven't pulled a 30 out of jeep in like 2 years and this time I had all the correct tools. Apparently it's like a 35 minute job. This tuesday i'll slap the xj axle in and be driving the comanche. Which is cool I guess but more importantly means I get to start working on the Honcho! I'll have you beating the crap out of your new jeep in no time!:firedevil

yes it is. i always thought it would be a fun competition to see who could pull or strip a 30 the fastest with only hand tools (no impact guns). one time i did my axle seals in just under an hour including reassembly...

:D I need to do my taxes eventually... I'm betting I don't get much back this year. Last year was a hell of a refund because I got hired halfway through the year but they were withholding at the same rate.

I really really need to do the rear brakes on the MJ... I think I will slap a new cover on the d35 at the same time. I feel like I'm wasting my time putting 1-2 new lugs, a cover, and brake cylinders on a d35 but hey, I already have most of that stuff... just gotta do it.

I got hired as of May last year and I am in that same position right now....

But my father took a quick look at my #s and said he didn't think I would be getting that much back :dunno: Guess I just gotta get it done to find out what I will be getting. I THOUGH I would be getting a good amount, but idk now.
