THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I saw it when I was like 6 at the theater with my parents, I barely remember it, I mostly was focused on how the machines and stuff worked.

on that note... I'm going to be an old fart and go to sleep now

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

oh yeah and

429 Boss mustang, the semi-hemi
That is still my #1 dream car of all time. If I could get my hands on one of those I would be in heaven.

BUT this car I was looking at is in "needs work" shape... from what I heard the owner was looking to get 20k for it as is (which makes me think it may be the rare one, cause it needs that much work). The guy who owns the land said that "the owner owes me alot of money, if I really wanted I could have owned that car years ago" and also stated that "I would just sell it for 4 or 5 grand and be done with it". So long story short I am HOPING it is a 426 hemi (which could easily sell for 25k in the condition that it is in) and the guy who owns the land gets it since the owner owes him quite a bit of $$.. at which point I already have my name in as a buyer for it since it may be sold for 5k.

Long story short if I could get this car for 5K I would in a heartbeat. Idc if I have to get out of Jeeps for a few years or more. It would be worth it to me. The car needs an engine rebuild and such, but still worth it. I love the 66/67 chargers and if I could land a 426hemi.... idk... a guy my age who ends up with that in my hands... idk. It would be unreal. It is a car I never thought I would be able to afford. It would be like one of those 'barn finds'. I know I won't find a boss 429 so I expect to spend a ton on one eventually (if I ever get one). With regard to the charger I am hoping this is my once in a lifetime opportunity, my barn find... I will leave it at the fact that a fully restored 426 hemi could potentially pick up well over $100k at auction (quite possibly over $200k, but that would be an all original one I would say). I wouldn't plan on selling it, I would build it for me... but just saying, if I can get this car now it may be a once in a lifetime opportunity that I wouldn't pass up.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i am so glad someone else has seen/admitted to seeing Fern Gully
I will admit to any show I have seen; And when I was a kid, I enjoyed that show. I still agree that pointless destruction of rainforests is pointless, however my views on it are drastically different than those of the movie. (at least how the movie is presented) well actually how it is presented is pretty decent... but that's not how all view the offroad... some want to clear minimal trails so they can enjoy it.. aka us... so yeah, the movie gives the negative, not the positive.

I'l thumb wrestle ya for it?

mmmhmmmm, ok. I will let you know the conditions of said thumb wrestle after I set the conditions of the sale of the car. (to be honest, if I get the car for a good price and can give the car to a better home than I will be able to provide... it may be an option..) There's a 99.9% chance that I would keep the car, but in the event that I don't you're #1 on the list if I get it... as long as you qualify and answer my questions :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If I bought this car I feel like I might trust no one here in NAC to drive it :laugh3:.. at the same time I think I would let y'all drive it.. just because. :)
