THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's just some poor dude with a faulty trailer tire, he tried to get it replaced thru Maxxis, and they bounced him around to a million different people, basically tried blowing him off, and it took ALOT more than it should have for them to do the right thing. Took em over 7 months!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Did that answer everything?
Yep, I'm pretty sure it did!

so ur telling me that thing i ripped out and threw away was valuable?
Likely, unless it was just a dash clock. To really be valuable you would have to track down and pull all the sensors that came with it - at least one on each diff, I think ANOTHER CTS, probably transmission fluid temp sensors, etc etc etc. Otherwise it'd mostly be a curiosity.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

it had a clock but it had a bunch of other lights in it that never turned on so i dunno what they did. but the stock axles and trans left a loooong time ago

you got a picture of one of these, what exactly do they tell you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wish I could find one. I saw one on here long ago, and Google is failing me because Chrysler had to go naming the new security key setup the Sentry Key :smsoap:

EDIT: looks like they check fluid levels (at least the front diff and maybe the rear) but don't do much more.

Vote in RotM if you haven't already... one vote between #1 and #2 right now.

I know we've got no NAC contenders, but vote!

Can I borrow it while the rest of your Jeep gets built? ;)

What are you looking at, 2 speed or 4? What gears? What outputs etc??

2 speed 4.3 low range 32 spline frt output, not sure on yokes or flanges, whatevers stronger i guess

I want the 4 speed, I just priced out what I want with the options etc, comes to $3,041  with the 32 spline front output, 1350 yokes, speedometer, VSS tailhousing, and the XJ shifter. yikes. Gonna be awhile til I'm not worrying about blowing up my t-case :( At least I have a spare in the meantime haha

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just did it on the Advance Adapters site quick to get an idea

on poly performance's site, after shipping, the 4 speed with the same options listed above came to $3,049.35. I don't know if shipping is included in the price on the Advance Adapters site...

came to 2300 with 1410 yokes on advanced, there you get the hd ouput for free when ya order online

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sweet. Yeah, I dunno. The price of the 2 speed is obviously more attractive, but if I'm gonna spend that much money, why not add $800 and get 2 more speeds? Might as well, IMO :dunno:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you like to many speeds, that be like 10 speeds total wich would confuse the shit out of me, maybee you on speed thinin of all theses speeds

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You'll be done by fall/winter I bet...

Go ahead, prove me wrong and finish sooner :D

i would probably mean missing nacfest then

weld both diff and bring it to lobsterville, then have ross trailer it back home

i plan on having a broken black jeep on there:D

have a link handy? I'm curious :)

STOP LOOKING AT MY TIRES!!!

Get a second pinion nut. For the $2 it isn’t worth wrecking the threads on the new pinion using a old rusted one. Use a brand new one for all the setup, then use the 2nd for the last final assembly so it’ll have been only tightened once.

:gee: that was funny
