Yeah......... I think I had half an MJ frame in my nose after the last time I did stuff like that. Sure looked like it the next morning in the shower anyways :shocked:

I consider myself lucky.

You lucky bastard. My dad introduced me to car work, but rarely does anything other than an oil change now. I learned many of my choice words from "helping" him work on cars though, I remember in particular doing a CV joint and halfshaft on the front left wheel of the old family minivan and the steering box on the old station wagon causing a lot of trouble.

I can think of numerous times my dad helped me out with car stuff.

Redoing the front axle on my '85 dodge ram when I was 17 (u-joints, ball joints, hub bearings, etc).

Installing my first lift kit on my red 2-door '91.

Replacing the transmission in my '92 until 2 a.m. one night both covered in tranny fluid.

I consider myself pretty lucky to have parents that invest so much into this hobby (3-car garage with plans for another and my dad went in half for the welder and now wants an oxy-acetylene setup).

My dad helps until 12 but some how as soon as it hit 12 he will put what ever he had in his and down and go inside. But he never looks at the clock....

it's my bullshit into to industrial engineering [aka the useless engineering who everybody (especially unions) hate since they are the ones for "efficiency" or layoffs].

ive made some plan changes to green jeep to make it wheelable sooner, keepin current dpg leafs in rear and not goin coil out back, not gonna cut up the body, and just gonna have interior cage, if i rill it ill just cut the roof off at some point, still gonna keep tons, 38's and atlas though

Somehow my whole family thinks my Jeep is pretty cool. My dad thinks it's a gas pig (he's a crazy environmentalist now) but likes it because he thinks they run well on ethanol. I told him he could think that if he wanted and I would continue running it on dead dinos.
