I'm not even so much mad as I am confused. They were junk anyways. I bought them at a junk yard off a CFC XJ and they had bad bushings. I just needed something because the stock links were too small.

That really sucks, kindof a strange thing to steal but I guess it's a functional part that someone may want for their Jeep & its easy to remove :dunno:

Hmmm, the '90 would still be renix, right? I'm thinking if I do get it I will have to pick up a donor XJ and swap out the full drivetrain with an 8.25 out back, 5-speed, 4.0 HO (or maybe stroker? :D) and all the computer and such, even interior.

Edit: Update, I have a driveway to park the MJ in now, it may be close to an hour from my house... but it's free parking! :D:D:D My dream of being an MJ owner may be coming true. lol. Does anyone have a truck/trailer they want to let me borrow? (or does anyone have a truck/trailer that wouldn't mind going for a drive?)

90 I believe will be a renix yeah, it'll definitely have bendix brakes and a mechanical speedometer cable. If it's got the metric ton (aka "big ton") package it'll have an AMC20 rear or a d44 (iirc) so don't swap out the rear unless it's a d35 :roll:

2500 doesnt look too bad (I kinda like it) and it's cheap (other than shipping I am sure). idc if you like it or not, it will be mine :laugh:
Also, my firefox started doing that last night too, was really pissing me off...

Well yeah, swapping in the axles was dependent on what it had already. If I get lucky and it had the D44 or AMC20 I def wouldn't be swapping it out :laugh: (never heard about the AMC20 being in the MJ's, so I will have to look into it).

It would end up with approx 1-2" lift and 31s I think. I think that they look real good with 31's if it is remaining a DD. I am actually real excited right now. that truck was posted in tons of different areas so idk where it's located though. Was posted through CT, as well as in western and central MA... hopefully not too far away from me. I really just gotta find some truck to trailer it back with, unless of course it is in OK condition aside from the alternator and I can drive it home. I can easily do an alternator swap in less than an hour now so if it is drive-able aside from the alt I will just swing by the JY before I go to buy the truck and swap one in right when I buy it. er, well, I can do the alt in less than an hour on my '93, not sure how different the renix was regarding the alternator. Oh well, doesnt matter.

On 2nd thought, if I get that MJ it's not getting a stroker... I think it may end up with an LS1 :thumbup:

Haha, no I decided to skip the power hour that was scheduled to go on at my friends house, (to which we invited our professor to) and took a nice power nap which lasted about 3 hours, as I had no sleep what so ever the past 2 days.

I don't think I could even drink beer right now if I wanted. My stomache has been killing me the past two days.

I leave the 22nd Travis.

I go home tomorrow, and stop and register the Briarwood on my way.

My first 3 exams went pretty well.
My exam today sucked terribly, but I don't even care. I just can't wait to start co-op in January.

i used to get in trouble for that

i would grind so much that fine metal particles ended up on the floor upstairs
