would any of you guys who snowboard be willing to go in for a house at Sugarloaf the week of January 3rd - 9th ish? I'm thinking of trying to get a big pile of people to rent a ballin place for that week and the more the merrier. This is one place i'm considering:

Well I just had a great time, not to bring up wireless again but I just smashed a Verizon Wireless building. Actually my big black truck just did. I went to the ATM for a minute, heard a bang which sounded like a plow blade dropping, went outside to get in my truck and its gone, all the way across the parking lot and into the building. It looked parked because it was sitting in a spot right next to a frightened girl in a van. There was less then a foot of room between the two. Of course it scared the crap out of the Verizon lady who hit the panic button calling the police but they would have had to been called anyway as the truck broke the bricks, cracked a granite window slab and whatever else cracked inside. The truck didnt even get a scratch, the hitch ball hit first, probably better because the bumper hitting would've wrecked more. I cant even imagine the speed it picked up. It was about 3 parking lot aisles away. Chock it up to another day in the life of.

Oh man, now is when I start wishing I snowboarded more than a few times in my life.. As much as I can still hold my own on some smaller hills I am sure that y'all would kick my ass and I would either be left stranded hanging out by myself or slow y'all down.

Plus getting time off would be tough-ish

I like MJs... but I have to say, I'd miss the waterproof cargo area pretty badly if it was all I had. Now, an extended cab or four door MJ... that'd be the thing.

yeah shopping at more than one location kinda sucks.i tend not to cause i worry about the bags of stuff walking away and its a pita to move everything in the cab.

the 2dr xj went to a guy from dwe. hes gonna clean it up and paint it a normal color and dd it.he was very happy with it.
i junked the blue one.

What would you suggest otherwise? Reason I ask is, I want to replace the JJ's on my Clayton arms and I believe they have 1" 14tpi thread on the shank, so I was wondering if there was anything else out there that would thread in and be an upgrade over the Johnny Joints. At $40 a pop I don't really mind just buying another set of them for now I guess, I mean it's not a lot of dough. But if there's an easy upgrade I might as well do that.

I just don't like how you can't adjust the pre-load at all. You've got the snap ring and that's it. Sure you could shim it, but that's just a pain. I prefer the ones like RE, SummitMachine, Ballistic, etc were you have a collar you can adjust to get the correct pre-load on the ball of the joint. Those I mentioned can be had for around $40-$45 a piece with a shank.

Doesnt matter to me, just make it work with low level lefts. I.e. I want a long arm setup for 3.5"-4.5"

That's how much the wife's XJ is getting, so it would work with those whatever it may be.

So are you saying that stiffeners would need to be pre-reqirement for this 'kit' or would the kit need to include stiffeners? (Granted I know a belly pan would drive up price... and stiffeners would drive up price.. but if a LA setup came with stiffeners and a belly pan I think I would be in heaven :laugh:

I was saying more along the lines as they'd have to be done at the same time. I can tell you for a fact that unless I somehow win the lottery and purchase some machinery there will not be something that has all those three. Its just to small a market for me to really get into trying to produce something.

i dont know what the big deal is on johnny joints, they last a long time on Clayton kits with out issues as long as you properly maintain em, ill be using em on mine for the rear 4link

They are good, but I just think there are better options for the money.

lol.yeah it was a pos that was barely a shell.
it was pretty funny trying to get it on the trailer.
the d35 was locked up and not turning, no front coils, no steering components whatsoever, no brakes, and the upper and lower control arm bolts were hand tightened.
oh yeah, it was a good time.
lotsa laundry detergent was used, ill say that much.
