The "Hope I get it done by WF Oh-Ten" thread

Got my LED bulbs in the cluster and got my hatch OPEN and working! :yelclap: Hopefully tomorrow we'll manage to get my sliders installed and maybe a couple skids.

That's a good idea, maybe I'll just do that. Assuming the sliders are smaller than the Tercel is!

If the seat folds down they should fit without an issue!

i still gotta get a first aid kit, then i am ready to roll...............................i think

I am going to add cutting brakes by wf.

There now I said it outloud so I have to do it right?

8 bucks at Walmart. Everything you'd need is in there.

damn, i was just at walmart last night is it in the auto section or the camping or other?

I still have to:

Finish rear bumper, install lower control arms, zj coils and tie rod, HDoffroad stiffeners..(been putting this off..stupid undercoating..), trans cooler..

Finally got it tuned up and fluids changed..runs much better..AND I finally renewed my membership!

Probably in sporting goods. Not sure I picked mine up on an end cap near the pharmacy.

This.

I need to pick up my extinguisher from the safety place. Not sure if I'll need it or not, but if the rig makes it I'll be within tech.

Haha, You got a truck just drag the dang thing up here! :D J/K but seriously you should try to bring it!

Here in town, the fire extinguishers are with the smoke detectors. Pretty close to the air filters for your furnace.

Its looking like it! Supposed to have 3 to 6 coming soon

At our Walmart both the first aid kits and fire extinguishers could be found in or around the automotive section.

Finally have the Jeep out of the garage, unfortunately I have major linkage issues with the 231 I still need to figure out, either that or shift it manually from under the vehicle (blah). And it sounds like it's going to fall apart when I'm driving it, but it's a lifted Jeep so I'm pretty sure that's normal. Also got headers put on the tow rig, but now I've got some weird timing/misfire issues coming back to haunt me, since I never had it properly calibrated after replacing the engine. And the Accord still needs a clutch. Three vehicles, would be nice if one of them worked well.

Law of equal proportions: As the # of vehicles goes up, the amount needed to be done goes up.

So true. Even things like changing oil start to be a huge PITA. But I figure as I add more vehicles, the probability of any one of them failing goes up, but the probability of ALL of them failing goes way down. Unfortunately there is an extra factor, the idiot owner who wants to wrench on them all the time. :D

It only goes up because you have more cars to begin with :D
I'm looking for a new car for DD this spring, really hoping I can ward of the wrenching bug.

But I've already looked, new exhaust 700, Turbo upgrade 2500+, Mud Flaps 50, etc. Gotta really try hard to keep the XJ as the only tinkering vehicle.
