The "Hope I get done before Winterfest" List.....

So I may not be the only gooseneck'er at the campsite?

bm 'if only I could fit a camper and the XJ on the trailer' yohn

Put you a RTT on top of the goose!

dropped my driveshaft of at the heavy truck place about an hour ago.

yay for straight driveshaft!

gonna drop my driveshaft off tomorrow afternoon and pick it up Friday morning, then I just have to reroute some wiring since I relocated my battery

Got my tow hooks, now to get bolts and nuts I need and get them on some how (no air tools and limited knowledge of how they go on) before the 5th. Can anybody help me?

I won't be at the campground, only going on Saturday. And I got one bolt, will take it to Rural king or Fastenal today to get four new bolts for it.

Got the front of the XJ lifted tonight, if the rear goes well and I can fix this intermittent starting issue then I may bring it to WF. The ZJ has been solid and reliable though so it's tempting to say screw it and bring that instead.

Your supposed to leave the easy end "the front" for last.

Yea I should know that by now, it's just more motivating when I get the easy part done and make progress. I'm not even going to bother trying to take the front leaf bolts out until I cut the leaf eyes in two and break away the bushing. I've learned that much by now and I've got new leafs to put in.

How much lift are you doing?

Well, this list started right after WF Oh-Ten ended, some things have been taken off the list since I got them done. Most of the original list is still there with a bit more added. OBA, Aussie for the 8.25, V8 ZJ steering, Gas Tank Skid, T-case Skid, Reinforce Bumper, Tool Storage, Motor mounts, Rocker/Sliders, Cruise Control Servo, 3" lift, Coil Retainers, Trans Cooler, Brake Line Extensions, 31s mounted and balanced, Disco Sway bar on, Trans Cooler, Battery Terminals, Neutral Safety Switch, Out with the A/C, Relocate Alternator, get a few more camping items...Maybe hood vents

Let's see how I'm doing at the last minute...

No OBA, Aussie should go in Tuesday, V8 ZJ steering in, gas tank skid to go on Saturday, T-case skid sold, bumper still needs worked over, tool storage kinda getting a bit of a nix for now, motor mounts 50% done, rockers done, cruise in but not working, lift done, coil retainers in, brake lines in progress, 31's done, sway bar done, trans cooler in but not plumbed, battery terminals done, NSS ha, A/C all out except for compressor, alternator still down low.

Yeah, I got some stuff to do, but rest assured, the essentials will get finished.

My comanche is done and ready to go after I check the vital fluids. Now on to my neighbors XJ 4.5 lift, rear bumper and new 33s by next wednesday night.

Got the brakes done on the jeep and the rear soft line replaced oh and the entire hardline to the rear too! :D The jeep is ready, now to get the camper done!

just gotta pick up my driveshaft tomorrow, camper is ready, and make an extension for the trailer wiring to hook up

my camper roof vent has to be replaced still b/c I am pretty sure the palstic walmart bag that is zip tied in place will not make a trip down the highway...the one I ordered came in yesterday so I have to make a trip to town to get it and will be installing it this evening. Other then that it is lock and load time..camper will go in the truck Sunday afternoon, trailer loaded up and ready to roll out Wednesday morning at dawn.

gonna be doing an oil change and setting up the bumpstops tonight, what sucks is i cant find the full unopened tube of liquid nails that i have so i gotta go to menards on my lunch and pick up a new tube

Gonna see what i can do about the exhaust The other night it was cold so i crawled under there and saw it was leaking from the gasket in between the cat tube and muffler

picked up my retubed driveshaft last night and tossed some paint on it. Looks good. I'll get it bolted up tonight, and hopefuly finish my front brakelines up. Aftr that it's just Harmonic Balancer and some fluid changes and t's ready to roll on the trailer.

and shocks, but those might get put on Thursday in the campground.
