Got my CB today, that's the only thing I have to do. Just need to figure out how I want to do the antenna.

Got an antenna, too, but if work doesn't slow down a bit, I may just buy a handheld. And I know I won't have time for the new stereo, speakers, 12" sub and amp, front axle with Ected, or the Hoboxes that I bought in '09....

I did my fronts on the ground, hard left/right turns and then zip-ties through the mounting screw hole(s)... It's not pretty but they're on...

Now if only the OME packs and rear line would show up.... :smsoap:

My jeep is done!! Well, on the road anyways. Still have a few minor things to take care of. I took the jeep icefishing yesterday and have a few clunks from up front. I don't know if it is a lockout or what but everything else is brand new. The rear leaf springs are STIFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna have to add some weight till they smooth out.
It is gonna take some getting used to, having to mess with the lockouts. I miss being able to just pull the handle and GO.

Kim, if you installed the TNT long arms, that is probably the clunking your hearing,,,,mine make all sorts of noises...

Nope, only in 4x. Coming from the front left lockout I believe. I also hear the clunking from one of the control arm bushings. Other than that it is a pretty quiet ride so far. Taking it on another test run today. It will get a workout to see if there is going to be anything else to take care of before Winterfest.

Got my stiffeners on and cross member fabbed up yesterday. Thanks HD Offroad. Getting ready to install my long arms. Still need to swap front axles, put TC skid on and repair rear frame.

Got my AW4 Override installed over the weekend. Just need to change both diff fluids , trans case fluid, change oil and lube up next weekend. Will be good to go.

went to a local CB shop and got everything i need to set my CB the right way. now i should get a decent signal and not short out my radio.

also got extended brake lines installed.

all thats left is to wore the CB, install front/tcase/gastank skids, weld support brakets for rear bumper, secure tools and cargo, and install hula doll

I've decided that I am going to lift my new-to-me XJ and try to bring it instead of the ZJ (probably will steal tires from the ZJ though).

2.5 weeks... we're definitely getting down there. Worst case, as long as I bring a turkey fryer and beer I've got nothing to worry about.

Got the front fenders trimmed this past weekend, have to cut and fold the rear then install the 4 rear TJ flares. Also install the hood vents that just came in the mail. Thinking about ordering 33x10.5 KM2s from Sears (price match FTW)

your CB has to work and be able to be usable for all the vehicles in your group to hear you and you talk to them. We are just needing communication to be clear in your trail group, not the town of Attica.

well i got my truck driveable now. not gonna get everything that i wanted to done, but at least its all together.

Just went to lunch, started the truck up and couldnt even hear my self think looks like the rust finally mad its way through the muffler so i got to replace that

i like loud exhaust but not when the sound like that
