The lower control arm brackets on the axle have developed some slop, the 9/16” bolt hole was oblong and oversized by .050-.075” depending on where I measured. This makes for a very clunky and noisy ride. I don’t have a lathe but a few special tools on the mill can achieve a similar product. I drilled the brackets to 3/4” and machined some weld in steel bushings that neck back down to 9/16”. Added grade 8 washers and a fresh bolt/lock nut and she’s nice and tight again. Rinse and repeat on the passenger side.
