So was closing Geeeetmo and about a thousand other promises he never kept. The fact that anyone could vote for him again, especially all of those that voted for him the first time blows my mind.

Why? the public school system has been falling apart for years. Now they are trying to change the grading criteria in Los Angeles to make a "D" passing.

Is it any suprise things are going the way they are?:confused:

NEA needs to go away........hey, you can make that into a poster and wave it in from of the local CA public school of choice.

California, in nearly every way, is a shining example of how screwed we will be as a nation if each state were to mirror their social programs and fiscal decisions.

You want to lecture on the inablility of others to consider an opinion that may not align with their own, yet when asked to provide the basis for your opinion (reasons to re-elect Obama), you refuse.

You also state that your opinions are formed the same way mine are formed...... I question the validity of this statement, since you refuse to share the basis of your opinion.

For the record, my opinion on whether Obama deserves to be re-elected has been formed through the use of critical thinking, the comparison of the candidates promises with their actions, the measurment of their performance as an elected official by how closely their actions align with Constitutional principles and values and the protection of our God-given Rights and Freedoms.

Calling people who don't agree with you morons, rednecks and flushwater XXXXs, and your repeated refusal to have a fact-based discussion only leads one to the conclusion that your opinions and actions regarding this subject are based purely on emotion.

This election is going to be interesting. I don't care much for Obama, but my blood boils when i see Romney. Just another guy telling you what you want to hear, and taking the low road by playing the religious card to get the votes of all the idiots who vote strictly on religious viewpoints. I can't believe some people can't see through that plastic smile....

And to be clear, i have nothing against religion, but i do have a problem with it in politics. Too many politians taking advantage of people's beliefs to get ahead.

I've seen a couple things from Romney that I liked, but one can never be sure which Romney it was that said it and which Romney will be elected. I don't think I'll be voting Republican this cycle. Won't likely be voting Democrat either. I really think I am just going to write in Adam Carolla.

I'm not a fan of Romney either but I think your idea of him using his religious views to get elected is way off the mark. I think being a Mormon if Mitt could get away hiding his religious beliefs from everyone he would. It won't help him get elected.

Like it or not we are a two party country. It's either going to be Mitt or Obama. Voting for Ron Paul, Nader, Donald Duck or writing in any other candidate won't make either of them not get elected.

I really don't like Mitt but Obama is a far greater threat to this country than he is.....in my opinion.

I, unlike other posters, won't request you explain how you arrived at your opinion. I respect other's right to their opinion without necessarily agreeing with it, or questioning your reasoning behind it. :sure:

that in alone is enough for me to question why anyone would vote for him. If a candidate is an obvious BSer and is only telling people what they want to hear, that is not somebody i want making life decisions for myself and my family. that's not somebody i want to buy a used car from, so why would i want him running my country? i cannot believe what douchery people actually allow from these guys, it's sickening.
