He never said he would attack the president. He said he would either be dead or in jail if Obama was re-elected. Meaning if he is re-elected there is a good chance he will try to take away everyone's guns and he will go down fighting if that happens.

Over 45% of the country are gun owners and a very large number of them have said the same thing.
