The car is awesome in the desert and great on the rocks. Fast, Fast, Fast. And comfortable.. you could just about use those cup holders during the race.

I did apparently fail to take a torque wrench to a spindle nut. .. my bad, been exhausted lately for some reason - like I get no downtime.

I have a spare spindle, or I guess had, hopefully Yukon can set us up with a spare set.

they make stage 8s for that application? might as well never have to worry about them loosening up ever. i had one side loosen up on me and blow out almost everything in my hub... got stage 8s and dont have to worry about it anymore.

We'd like to be. If I can put my hands on a set of 30 spline chromo slugs, they will go into the car - but budget is tight. ;)

bunch of parts from Kartek and a stick of 3/4" DOM.

Steering worked great. We do want to brace the column a little more, I'll get some good pictures of the setup when we do.

Just for the record, *YUKON ROCKS*. I don't think I can express just how helpful they have been with our drive train. I'm not just talking a hookup on cost, but they have gone way out of their way to help us track down every little thing we need.

New spindles and hubs on the way.

Its also a way for them to advertise on the actual axle in a viewable location :-)

Oh and when they come out with their HD hubs for the D44, I will let ya know. They are STRONG and sweet! But just lagging on the D44, since they will be the same cost as a D60, retail wise, so they are slow to release because they are not to sure of the sales due to the cost.

Will they be available in 8 lug or only 5/6 lug? I read that as heavy duty hubs for 5/6 lug 44s, not hubs for 8 lug hd44s, hopefully I am wrong
