Still won't start.

I wouldn't think so but it might

You can verify by disconnecting the lines at the rail and turning on the pump. The supply line from the pump connects directly to the rail, the return line connects to the regulator

I put the new injectors in and still nothing. Got a throttle body from the junkyard, im under the impression that the IAC is the problem. Took it out of the old TB and it was stuck in position. Cant remember if it was open or closed all the way. any other suggestions that might help ?? :flamemad:

Have you tested that the injectors are firing? You can use a mechanic stethoscope, or a rod, or you can buy/borrow noid test lights that will light up when the injector fires. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_teotIHmz7U. Some of them are inline and let you pass-through to the injector.

In-line spark tester is less than $20 and will tell you for certain if you are getting even spark, can be bought from a lot of places. Sometimes you get spark on a couple of poles but not the others. Also check the wire from the coil to the distributor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQBtzk-dGYM

I haven't ****ed with the damn thing for a while but the latest news is that we replaced the TPS and it ran a tad longer. next morning before work I tried to start it without the gas cap being on and that's the longest that it ran.

update. The PCM that we got from the junk yard was only 50% good. it would only let the engine turn over. We swapped a known good one in and it fired up fine. thermostat was sealed shut from trashed hoses. replaced them and ran water through it to flush the system along with Prestone radiator flush stuff. let the engine run so the water pump could spit out most of the water, which is fine if you only do it for a short time. new thermostat, hoses and gaset alpong with engine building gasket maker i got from work (technician at Lexus) and theres no more leaks and the system stays at fairly nice temp. now the inner nut for the leaf spring broke off, the adventures continue.
