I swapped to an AX15 several years ago and the jeep ran perfect after the swap. I decided to rebuild the AX15 and NP231. Life got in the way so it sat for three years. Fuel was drained, battery unhooked. I went to fire it up this weekend with five gallons of fresh fuel and got spark but no fuel. Just a few things I checked below

Spark no fuel
CPS is conncected
Crank key - fuel pump clicks once, no prime
Swapped relays - no change
Jumped relay - fuel pump definitely comes on but not very loud ( I don’t remember how loud it use to be)

Not sure where to go from here. I guess I should check for 12V at the fuel pump using the key and jumping the relay just to verfiy. Maybe sitting in sitting in an empty tank just ruined the fuel pump?

I would not be surprised to find your fuel tank is a rusty mess inside. Such has been my own experience.

Being a '93 it is fairly easy to pull the pump module. To make it easier to reinstall the pump module get yourself one of these AC Delco/GM o-rings which has tabs to keep the o-ring centered: ACD# G10 and/or GM# 22515965.

If you pull the pump module and find it is covered with rust you probably need a new pump. You may be able to clean up the rest of the module and salvage it. Test the fuel float (move the arm up and down) to confirm the gauge responds (may need to ground the unit for that) before you reinstall it.

I didn’t. It was already inoperable at that point. I’ll verify 12v is getting to the pump then pull then fuel pump and go from there. What’s the go to fuel pump these days? I keep reading it’s a mixed bag
