Anyone willing to meet with this guy and grab those "Street Van" door emblems for me?

I collect unusual emblems and I WANT THESE! :D

I plan to call the guy in the morning and see where he's at and firm up a price. Dunno if the guy will be willing to pull 'em or if he'll require the person that shows up for 'em to pull 'em.

I'll be your backup, Troy, but only if you buy my "free candy" van to put them on...

Left messages at both numbers in the ad....... no return call so far. :dunno:

EDIT: Of course, as soon as I typed that he calls........ Apparently these emblems are popular so he's taking bids. He's up to $120 for the pair....... I'm out.

Thanks anyhow!

I was going to tell you Troy those emblems are rare , I was amazed someone actually had them down here . You know how much emblems go for now a days , I tried getting some OEM GTO emblems a couple years ago from Year one . They wanted 300 bucks because I wanted the very rare Le Mans GTO
emblems that actually say Le Mans under the GTO letters .

Apparently. I did a Wiki search on the "Street Van" package:

This package was available from the 1976 model year until it was discontinued in the early '80s. This was not an overly-popular option from the factory, and Street Vans are somewhat rare. The chrome metal Street Van emblems found on later Street Vans (emblems through mid-1978 were stickers) in good shape are quite valuable to collectors or restorers.

I know I've seen a few of these in years past during my junk yard treks...... I won't walk past another set of these without snatching 'em in the future......

I've got a VW badge I'll put you into for $23.
