Im wanting to do a spring road trip thru CO. what parts of colorado are a must see?

We are oddballs because we're too close to Utah and Wyoming both. The family trees grow really tall but don't have many branches. The most confusing day in Craig is........Fathers Day!!

I'm telling ya it's head was stuck in the fence so I helped set it free!

Indeed....... avoid Trinidad. I drove past while enroute to Flagstaff a couple years back..... They must have one helluva big geyser or hot springs or something...... you could really hear the ssssssteam esssssscaping.......

To where? If you go through NE you're at risk of being arse raped with corn, KS just plain sucks, and UT carried the risk of being converted into one of them strange folk that have multiple wives and think a night on the town involves a PG movie and a 2 liter of Mountain Dew. Nope, there just is no going around CO.

Remember, around here the spring start of wheeling in the mountains starts about May 15. Lots of high trails don't open till the end of July.

thats funny you say that because last timei posted in colorado chapter thread got a bit off topic. but i still want to take my lady down for spring and hopfuly she wont want to come home.

So on the serious side, what are you guys looking to do? Hot Springs, MicroBrewery Tour, ZOO, hiking, snowboarding, fishing, etc? Thats going to make your biggest determination on where to go.

mostly checking out where id want to live but i do love a good IPA beer is my weakness!
some things im looking for is outdoor activity's fishing wheel'en and I would like to check out some small towns with old homes and acreage!...........

I'll suggest northern Colorado, then - specifically Ft. Collins area and west. Great breweries in FC. Head northwest on 287 towards Livermore for lots of great old farms/ranches, then hand a left toward's the mountains and head up the Poudre Canyon for blue ribbon trout fishing and wheeling -- Kelly Flats is a good time, and if you feel like a long, muddy day, give Greenridge a shot (not usually open until mid-summer).
