Some people's family...

corpsman were always so great when I was in he sounds like the exact opposite of what he should be

Semper Fi

Pat

Only the field medical Corpsmen, I wouldn't "P" on the others if they were on fire. My .02 worth.

So, he's unwilling to speak to me at all. He's using Facebook to message me trying to get his stuff back. He wants me to drop it outside the fence when I go to church this Sunday. That's idiocy. People are always cruising around the area on quads and trucks over the weekend. I'm not about to be held liable if his stuff disappears or gets damaged in any way. Plus he's returning some of our stuff and I'm not about to have my stuff laying about in the dirt. When I told him this (on voicemail, as I expected, he wouldn't answer the phone), he messaged me again saying "Please just leave the stuff outside your fence. I do not want to see you right now".

He claims to be at peace and happy, but doesn't sound like it to me. Pisses me off, I expected more of him. He grew up into a little girl. Oh well, I've done my part, I know I've handled it correctly, nothin left but to wait or him to quit feeling sorry for himself.

Anyway to get on base to drop his crap off?

Or get a monthly storage unit, put his name as a authorized user, rent it for a month put his carp in it and leave it up to him.

He accused me of child abuse again over FB last night. I am relenting and putting his stuff outside the fence tonight and he knows he has until 5pm tomorrow to get it, then it's in the trash. I'm done with him.

Child Abuse? Since when is somebody old enough to be in the service a "Child" ?

Outside of how they act of course;)
He claims that I abuse my kids because I lost my cool once and spanked too hard once. No doctor (who's trained to recognize the signs) has ever had a question or a problem, our eldest (the only one to have been in school yet) child's teacher never said anything, no one with any knowledge or training has had any questions. Just one idiot 21 yr old who got his peepee slapped (figuratively of course ;)) for raising his voice to my wife, disrespecting me, and apparently raising his to my kids when I'm not around. Just found out about that one today.

yikes. Doesn't he have some of your stuff though?

Spanking is good.
X2. I'd probably be fairly shitty person if my parents hadn't taught me a few lessons via discipline... sometimes kids need a smack or they're not gonna learn.

He needs a few swift kicks from my size 13 boot is what he needs.

13? Got me beat...

Suggestions - stick with the jump boots (better ankle support, more "snap" to the kick) and use boots with safety toe caps (if something's gonna "give," no reason it should be your foot.)

What does he have of yours? Anything you can't live without?

All he had (that I can think of) was a cup that my wife got when she had our last baby. Nice cup. He returned it along with $20. Apparently that's all he thinks he owes. I'm not concerned about the money, that was a minor issue. It just shows he's still completely missing the point.

And to add to the fun, he said he would leave our stuff in the garage. I told him, quite clearly, not to enter our garage. Do not come on my property or enter my house when I am not around. Put anything of ours in the bed of my truck, which was parked up against the fence so he could just drop it in over the fence. I told him twice because he responded saying it would be in the garage. Where was it when I got home? In the garage, and not like, just inside the door, but all the way in at the front (door is at the rear). I left him a voice mail and a FB message letting him know I was quite "displeased" at his continuing rebellion against what I say regarding my house and property. I also thanked him for showing someone I don't know how to get into my house when I'm not at home.

Well the size varies. I have a pair of 14 Doc Martens, my Marine Corps jungles and combats are 13s. A few pair of sneakers are 13s, some are 12s. But I would definitely be using the combat boots. Better support than my Doc Martens and Jungles, with a good robust toe cap, even though it isn't the safety boot.

It's not the size but the width that counts--13EEEE!

do your shoes come with a free EeeeeeeePC? :moon:

Glad I'm not the only bigfoot on here, I wear a 14 and have for ten years now. "Act your age not your shoe size" had absolutely zero impact on me at that age.

I've actually relatively small feet for being a big guy - 11.5EE (I wear a 12D, since it's easier to find. The slight extra length doesn't bother me, but I get the width I need across the foot.)

@Darky - sounds like it's time for a "Home Security Review," and correcting those little Unauthorised Entry issues...

Yeah, I've been planning on getting a new door hung that I can put a cat door on. The only reason it's left accessible is so the cat can get to his little "safe haven".

I'm only a 13EE. You got me beat Joe. Interesting note though, before the Corps, I wore a 15.

You ran so much you wore off your feets! :rof:

I used to wear 12.5 EE when I was in the Corps, but my feet got wider (and I got fatter) and they stopped making the 12.5 size, so here I am--big feets, fat, and 1" shorter than I used to be. Getting old is a "B".
