I'm finishing off the rear bumper today and pulling all the carpet out so i can herculine the interior.

Paul did tones jeep start screwing up after his battery went dead?Cause i changed the wifes battery an hers ran bad for about a day, nnow it is fine..

The battery was showing voltage, but was storing like .00001 amp. It was idling and I put the meter on the bat, just that little bit of juice was enough to kill the ignition system and stall it out. The Alt showed 13.85 vdc at idle and 13.92 vdc with a few R's.

Put the New bat in (12.86vdc) and it fired right up, 14.00 vdc at idle. Tone and I went for a test drive, and Tone says to Me "Could a New battery give Me More Horse Power? " You know what that Q means, the battery was so dead that the alt could not even supply the ignition with enough spark to do a fair burn. It seems to run good now, but it does have that fading idle where it starts to miss, then sputter, then it dies. I've got a few things to looks at from google.

Direct wired till I can afford the right switch. Belts LOL! they've been chucking pieces of themselves as it runs.

I have been running this one broke for almost a year now..If and or when i fix it, you won't ever keep up with me..:confused1..I like the way it works now, this allows you to run with me..:loveu:

My jeeps been poping and sputtering and all kinds of stoopid crap, I this it's because of the pcv valve/elbow on the valve cover broke...? Ordered the part though today $5 hope that fixes it!

The reading I did this morning was saying vacuum, idle solenoid or clogged throttle plate (can of carb cleaner). We'll look at all of it Tuesday.

Tape it up, good to go..LOL..So now you know when you make fun of other folks, it comes back at you two fold..
What i would do is go over to LQ scotts house and have him look at it..Then when he is under your hood, SLAM it on his head...Tell him i said for you to do it..
