So Cal desert rats

Is that one side or both? Looks good, now get the other stuff done. You know the HARDER stuff.LOL

Both done. Clips out so axles come out. Doing some more reading tonight, don't want to have anything bad happen. I think the toughest thing on Yours will be making the spacers.

Hey what do you guys think of the tread right tires? I was kind of skeptical about buying a set of retread tires cause I don't feel like replacing my fenders anytime soon but I just read a review by 4x4 garage magazine and they rated them really well even with highway use. What do you think? Anyone have experience with them?

I would consider them (have for the trailer) if I could get them in a 32" height.

Last night it got COOL over here, which was nice.Turned A/C off all night and had just the windods open

Won't be ready.
I found something interesting on the ARB, how the bolts came loose and how they broke off. I'll post pictures later.

Whats Missing in these Pictures?

And I find this one interesting, as the bolts walked out, the heads rubbed on the inside of the housing till they caught at the arrows and snapped off.

They were never torqued with loctite.

I made the tool I need to do this locker.

WTF... OUCH!

well theres alot of issues when dealing with left hand bolts. but no locktite either?

Damn, Paul. I could post the exact same picture from my 8 1/4. No Locktite. I walked all of the broken bolts out by hand. Sorry it happened to you. For the sake of 10 minutes of work, and $0.50 of Locktite....

What did i say about this paul? As you can see it happens to everybody now and then. But you should be good to go from the looks of the pics. Did you order the new bolts yet?I know you said you PMed him about them. Good luck.

Dude don't forget the LOCKTITE.:D. I know how old you is.;)

I'm trying to get the bolts local, though I'm not having much luck.

I think the bolts will be tough locally, being there are left hand thread specialty jobs. But, I forget you live in El Ay, as opposed to out in the boonies like me now, where a 1/4-20 1: Grade 5 bolt is considered specialty. If duct tape can't fix it here, it's specialty.

McMaster-Carr, perhaps? Summit Racing (I know, not local)?
