Slick Rock - Friday May 25th

My Dad and I are heading up to Lake Alpine for his birthday. We will be going up Thursday and wheeling Slick Rock Friday morning/afternoon.

It's snowing now. And I think it should snow tomorrow. Alpine lodge says to expect 2-6" of snow. I doubt it will be that much though.

Alpine got a good 5" of snow so far. Apparently Arnold got some snow too, but that's just a rumor.

Slick rock was pretty fun. Super cold and wet, so we just played around on the steps. We were the only ones on the trail, but there were a few groups camping.

Have a good trip Jon! Pack some warm clothes!

I heard from a buddy that Arnold got about 1" of hail and then about 3" of snow this afternoon.
